Life Purpose and Life Passion

Finding your life purpose is a matter of learning to listen to, and follow, your heart. Your purpose is to be happy, fulfilled, abundant, and creative.
Just as the only ‘right way’ to live your life is your way, the only life purpose you need to follow is to live your life doing what makes you feel right and fulfilled.
A purpose driven life is one lived with the solid underlying conviction that we are here for a reason, and can provide a sense of clarity, empowerment, and inner peace as we go about our lives.
In understanding the importance of purpose, creating goals based on truly purposeful ideals, and finding the willingness, strength, courage and determination to live our lives with purpose, purpose quotes serve to inform and inspire.
One key to a living a purposeful life is learning to use the difference between wanting and intending to your advantage, and start creating and maintaining a strong and vivid intention.
One part of our purpose is expressed through the work we do, and finding work that aligns us with our purpose can take time. There are people who have had a burning desire to teach, heal, analyze, or explore for as long as they can remember. Statistics and personal experience show that these people are a small minority. Most of us take many years and much soul-searching to discover a true sense of life purpose and meaning to our existence.
There are not very many people who have a clear idea of the career path they want to follow until they are at least college age. For most of us, figuring out what we want to do with our lives is something that takes a great deal of time and experimentation. And although a life purpose can be realized through a career, your career and your purpose are not the same thing. Working with purpose can be achieved by keeping focused on your dreams and goals, expressing your values, developing into the person you truly want to be, and embracing life’s lessons, whatever you happen to be doing.
Your purpose involves using your special talents or abilities in a way that brings benefit to you and others.
Everyone has at least one special ability, and often this is the thing we feel most passionate about doing. Don't be limited by stereotypes when it comes to expressing your abilities. Having a gift and a passion for healing does not mean that your life purpose is necessarily to become a doctor. This is one possible way of fulfilling your purpose, but there are
unlimited other ways
to follow your path and use your gift.
If you feel that there is nothing you are good at, or passionate about, you are suffering from tunnel vision or negative thinking.
There must have been a time, however brief, when you were so involved in an activity that time just seemed to fly past and your actions flowed as if by themselves. Whatever it was that you were doing at that moment is
, and chances are that if you love something, you will also be good at it. If you can figure out what you are passionate about, you can figure out what skills you need to use in fulfilling your life purpose.
Doing what we love is so important to our happiness, and yet so few people spend enough time doing it.The
most worthwhile way of spending time
is pursuing our passions.
A fulfilling life includes providing some form of service to other people. To serve others in some way is a vital need for human beings. If we are not actively doing something worthwhile to improve quality of life for those around us, we often experience dissatisfaction.
The service you can offer is something that you feel drawn to doing, and is something that can only be done by you. There are countless musicians in the world, but nobody else can compose your music. It has been said “Don’t die with your music still in you.” We experience this
urge to create
and share something valuable on a very basic level. When we do not find a way to express and release the music within us, we become stifled and frustrated.
We need to figure out what our ‘music’ is and how we can express it. My ‘music’ is communicating. I have a deep need to connect with other people. To encourage and share information with them. In my life I have expressed this passion through a variety of activities, from life coaching and training, to writing, to raising my children. I do not need to have a particular job description to be living my life purpose.
The only important thing is to know what your purpose is, and to constantly
look for opportunities
to fulfill it in some way, however big or small.Book your discounted life coaching discovery session today
