An Inspiring Woman Lisa Michelle
An inspiring woman to me is Lisa Michelle. There are, of course, many people who inspire me. Some of them I know personally, some I admire from a distance. I am fortunate though to have one especially inspiring woman in my life that I know very well- my sister Lisa Michelle.Even when we were young, and she is younger than I am, I admired and respected her strength of character. Lisa has always known her own mind, been willing to follow her heart, take chances, and stand out from the crowd. In short, a woman with the attitudes to life that this site is all about! As well as a strong belief in her dreams and goals, Lisa has always had a great passion for people. Friends are not an optional extra in her life- they are at the heart of it. She is a great friend to many, and particularly to me. I know that I can count on her in good times and bad- a wonderful blessing in my life. Lisa’s love of people inspires her in her work and her life. From travelling and writing, to parenting and social work, her commitment to making a difference shines through in everything she does. She doesn’t try to limit or define herself by one role. She expresses her gifts and talents in many areas. Lisa also has a wonderful enthusiasm for learning, both in an educational environment, and especially in the varied curriculum of the school of life. Whatever challenges, opportunities, or obstacles life brings her way, she embraces the lessons and squeezes the joy out of each new situation. My niece, Charlotte, nephew, Noah, and soon-to-arrive baby niece or nephew are blessed with a mother who will not only love and nurture them, but will challenge and encourage them to live life to the full. These children will learn by example that there are many ways to live, that life is filled with opportunities and miracles, and that they can follow their dreams- just as their mother is doing. They will also be surrounded with love, understand that the world is a place full of friends, and know that they have much to give and to receive. I am grateful to the divine order of the universe, in that I was destined to have Lisa Michelle as part of my life. My sister, my friend, and an inspiration.
