Have It All

You can have it all, believe it or not.

We are so used to thinking that we have to make sacrifices, pay the price for having what we want, or limit our expectations.

To be happy and fulfilled is the most basic desire, and the birthright, of every human being. This article provides 10 simple and vital steps to creating the joyful life you want and deserve.

As we seek to create more of what we want in our lives, great success quotes can give us encouragement to keep trying and remind us that success is largely a result of persistence and choice.

Dream quotes encourage us to keep dreaming, and to recognize the power that comes from keeping our dreams alive and vivid in our minds and hearts.

Most of us are raised to believe that we can’t have it all, but this does not have to be true. It becomes true when we settle for having only some of the things we want because we believe that is all we are entitled to.

Have you convinced yourself that since you have a nice car, a good job, and loyal friends, that hoping for a great relationship is ‘pushing your luck’?

Why should you have to choose between security and freedom, or career and parenthood, or appetizer and dessert? There is often no reason that you need to choose between two or more things that you want.

Believing that we can’t have it all is a result of limited thinking that keeps us trapped in the belief that there isn’t enough of everything to go around, and that we can’t live the lives of our dreams.

Money and happiness are part of our natural birthright, and if we want to make a claim to them, we must make a decision to transform beliefs that prevent them from flowing into our lives.

Manifesting abundance is not about willing it into being by the force of our desire, but rather allowing it to come into our lives by learning to let go of our self-imposed limitations.

Breaking free from these beliefs and limitations lets us see that sometimes we really can have our cake and eat it too. Anyway, what on earth would you want a cake for, if not to eat it?!

Often children are raised to believe that they are ‘the brains’ in their family, while their sibling is ‘the beauty.’ This not only forces children into a stereotype, but it instills the idea that you cannot be smart and attractive. You have to be one or the other.

It also implies that a family cannot be blessed with two or more smart children- there is a limit of one per household. These ways of thinking are ridiculous, but we keep buying into them.

It is damaging to a child’s self image to be cast in a certain role- one they may or may not feel comfortable with, but feel obliged to act out. Growing up as the 'shy one,' the ‘black sheep,’ or the ‘good child’ can make you feel that you have to conform to a role. If you need to break free of old patterns and work on improving your self respect and building your self esteem, there is no time like the present!

Self esteem quotes provide perspective on the importance of self esteem in our lives and how to go about creating it, advocating self love and self acceptance as vital ingredients.

The fact is that there is no need to put labels on yourself or others. You are a human being, and human beings are multi-faceted and constantly changing and evolving. You can be many things at many times to many people. In fact, you don’t have to ‘be’ anything except yourself .

People are trying to classify themselves and each other all the time. How often do you act in a certain way because that is your usual reaction, and that is what you feel people expect you to do? Have you ever been criticized for acting ‘out of character’?

These kinds of things illustrate the way that we and society try to fit everything and everyone into neat little packages. This is very limiting, and is a habit we need to break!

You can be wild and serious, mature and childlike, caring and carefree. You can dress up in formal eveningwear and waltz at a ball one night, and you can run barefoot in the park and fly a kite the next day. Go ahead and do what you want to do!

The world is a huge smorgasbord of choices, and sampling many of them helps create a full and happy life. Don’t get stuck ordering the same dish all the time and feeling that you are missing out on the amazing range of treats on offer. If you haven’t been tasting lots of the delights that life offers us, start trying some now!

You don’t have to be one thing or another, do one thing or another, and often you don’t have to have one thing or another.

You can have lots of the things that life has to offer. Why feel that you can’t have a condominium and a social conscience? There is nothing that says these things are mutually exclusive. It really is okay to have everything you want. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Why settle for a single scoop of ice cream? Go ahead and order a great big ice cream sundae with whipped cream, hot fudge sauce, and a cherry on top. Seize all the wonderful options and opportunities that life has to offer with both hands.

There is enough to go round. Don’t feel that by grabbing the best that life has to offer that you are depriving someone else. It doesn’t work that way.

In fact, by not allowing yourself to have it all, you are reinforcing the limited thinking that keeps so many people from happiness and fulfillment. By creating an abundant life for yourself, you set an example for others to do the same.

Don’t feel you always have to choose A or B. It is very possible that you can have A, B, and C with a time-share in Z. Sometimes you really can have it all, and you can usually have more than most people think.

Abundance quotes are a great way to move into a state of appreciation for the incredible abundance of the world we live in.

Open your mind to the absolute abundance of life, and the possibilities become endless.
