Be Inspired To Fulfill Your Destiny
To be inspired can be difficult at times. It is so easy to get caught up focusing on the mundane aspects of daily life, and to keep so busy doing unimportant tasks, that we fail to notice the miracles all around us.The key to finding inspiration is simply to look. To deliberately and consciously take your attention off what’s wrong with the world or with your life, and look at what's right. Make a decision that you will look for the wonder in everything, rather than wondering why you feel so ‘blah’ about life. As Albert Einstein said, “There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” If we can start thinking and behaving as if everything is a miracle, it becomes a whole lot easier to be inspired.
Try looking at the world from a fresh perspective. Put on some rose-colored glasses, and really focus on all the beauty that exists. Everything is a miracle! Look at the human body- the most incredible machine. You are a miracle just because you are alive. Inspiration comes from tuning into your spirit, and living the life you are destined to live. Think of a tiny seed that can grow into a great big tree. How does the seed know that it has to become a tree? Certainly not by thinking about it and rationalizing. It is simply fulfilling its destiny, which is what we all need to do. The beauty is that everything we need to know is already within us. Like the seed, we come into this world fully equipped to become whatever type of 'tree' we are meant to be. The reason that many of us don’t reach our full potential, and fulfill our destinies is because we don’t let ourselves. Instead of trusting our hearts to guide us in the direction that we need to go, we obsess endlessly, trying to 'figure out' what we ‘should’ do with our lives. Often, to be inspired, all we need to do is to still our rational minds, and tune into our intuition. Of course with the pace of life that most of us keep, to still your mind can sometimes seem like an impossible task. As well as making a decision to create some time and space to ‘stop the world,’ there are many effective ways to calm the chaos that reigns in most of our heads, most of the time. Perhaps you already have favorite ways of stilling your mind, and just need to make an ongoing commitment to making these a part of your routine. Prioritize time for yourself! It is so important, but so easily neglected. Time spent in quiet reflection can benefit every area of your life. Greater mental calm not only provides the opportunity to be inspired, it also improves well-being, productivity, relationships, and practically anything else you can think of. There is no one single method of creating calmness that works for everyone. If you don’t have any particular methods that work for you, there are many things you can try. Listening to music, taking a long walk, or soaking in a scented bubble bath can be relaxing and calming. Doing strenuous physical activities can also be very effective in quieting the mind. When your energy is fully focused on exerting your body, it’s hard to pay attention to the chatter in your head. Wherever you find your inspiration, creating anything you want in your life always begins with a choice. Choose to embrace the miracle of life and to look for the magic in everything, and it will become a whole lot easier to be inspired.
