Abundance quotes can help us move into a state of appreciation for the incredible abundance of the world we live in. As a result of this recognition and appreciation, we open ourselves up to truly enjoying the abundance we already have, as well as allowing more and more goodness to flow into our lives.

Abundance surrounds us in every area of our lives, but so often we fail to recognize and accept it. We experience the feeling of a lack of abundance either because we are focused in the wrong direction and actively looking for lack, or because we are resisting the abundance that is our divine birthright through feelings of unworthiness, or attachment to a belief in scarcity.

Some great abundance quotes suggest ways of opening ourselves up to the experience of abundance in our lives. Other abundance quotes give us thoughts on the types of actions that can lead us to an increased experience of abundance. According to Wayne Dyer, creating fulfillment in our lives is a vital key to abundance, and I definitely agree with this. There are few things that feel more wonderful than doing what we love most, and the sense of satisfaction that comes from these activities definitely constitutes an important part of an abundant life. Dr. Dyer says, “Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.”

Bourke Coekran advises living with a focus on peace and justice as a way to allow the abundance of our environment to be showered upon us. “There is enough for all. The earth is a generous mother; she will provide in plentiful abundance food for all her children if they will but cultivate her soil in justice and in peace.”

A number of powerful abundance quotes emphasize the importance of giving as a way to allow the flow of abundance to sweep into and through our lives. Hanging on tightly to what we have in the fear that it is already too little, and that if we loosen our grip, there will be no more to come literally cuts off the flow of abundance and keeps us firmly rooted in an airless prison of lack.

These final abundance quotes provide some insightful perspectives on the choices we have to make in regard to our own abundance.

Jan Denise tells us that we are not only entitled to live in abundance, but that it is, in fact, our obligation to do so, and that by refusing to accept and embrace the abundance that is our right, we are failing to live fully and authentically. “It is not only my right and my privilege to walk in the abundance God has for me, it is my responsibility...just as it is my responsibility to live the rest of my truth.”

Eric Butterworth points out that it is our choice where we decide to place our faith. “There is no such thing as a lack of faith. We have faith in lack rather than abundance but there is no lack of faith. Faith is a law.” We must decide if we trust that we live in a world of abundance, or whether we cling to the belief that we live in a world of lack.
